Hi readers, I’m Toby Webb, founder of a company called Innovation Forum.
I have worked in sustainability since 2001, when I founded Ethical Corporation, a publishing, events, media and research/advisory firm which is now owned by Reuters.
Having excited EC in 2014, I founded Innovation Forum that same year, which focuses on debate, research, discussions and acts as a ‘platform for change’ via conferences and online events. IF is now a well-established business, and works with large companies, such as Nestle, Walgreens Boots Alliance, Bayer, Golden Agri Resources, APRIL and many others on stakeholder engagement strategy.
I have advised many companies, usually taking a ‘critical friend’ role, since 2001, and also spent more than a decade teaching sustainable business at institutions such as King’s College London, Birkbeck and the Stockholm School of Economics. in 2006-10, I advised David Cameron, with Peter Stanbury and co-authored the UK’s national approach to responsible business, published in 2009.
In 2019, I founded Sustainable Wine Ltd, and in 2021, the Sustainable Wine Roundtable, a collection of more than 70 wine businesses and key stakeholders, focusing on sustainability transformation in the sector.
